Free Flow Street Skate Contest Vans Skateboard Park Orange CA July 18th 2007 Skate Video.
Chris Mendes takes the win at the Vans Orange Free Flow Street Skate Contest. After two second place finishes at the Lake Elsinore and Encinitas Chris came into Vans Orange determined to win the trip to Orlando. Chris Mendes skated with speed and precision in all of his heats and dominated the contest. Some of Chris's skate tricks included a kickflip backside nose blunt, nollie 3 heelflip, and a kickflip backside lip.
Timmy Knuth put together a great finals run to take second and Boo Johnson took third. Caedyn Curto, Ryan Reyes, and Justin Blake all had a great day advancing all the way into the finals. Jake Hill stopped short of the finals but as you can see from the video he laid down his fair share of tricks.
The Junior Jam Skate Contest was one of the best yet with a lot of really talented skaters. Isaiah Johnson landed trick after trick in the final to take the win.
The Vert Skate Contest was one of the biggest yet with fifteen skaters competing. Austin Poynter, Zach Miller, Jordan Price, and Josh Stafford all advanced into the final round of action. Josh Stafford put together the cleanest run to take the win and earn himself a trip to the Vert Finals in Orlando.
