There are just a few days to go until the first European edition of the Vans Downtown Showdown, sponsored by Fiat Freestyle Team, taking place on the top of the Lingotto Building, Torino, on the 12th Sept.

Vans can confirm that the event will have a couple of special US guests to add to the bill, Steve Van Doren will be accompanied by two travel companions in the form of the legendary Tony Alva and Ray Barbee. Ray will also treat those at the after party taking place at The Beach to a live gig.

The six European board brands have also released their teams who will compete in a jam session on each obstacle designed by Blueprint, Heroin and Cliché – see rider list attached.

Fiat Freestyle Team have added a generous €1000 prize to go to the person with the biggest trick or consolation for the best slam!

300 lucky people will get to watch the event live on the roof of the Lingotto Building, for those not fortunate enough to be there a live webcast will go out from the event for all to view via local Vans websites and on Freecaster.tv starting on Saturday the 12th at 16.30 CEST.

Fiat Qubo, the official Fiat Freestyle Team car, will be the shuttle service during the event and will be available for riders and guests.
